Refund Policy

Effective Date: January 2026

Writer’s Impact provides professional services, digital deliverables, and analysis-based products that are customized or prepared based on client-provided information.

Because of the nature of this work, all sales are final.

1. Applicability

This Refund Policy applies to all purchases made through writersimpact.com, including but not limited to:

  • Professional audits or reviews

  • Written reports or analysis (PDF or digital format)

  • Digital deliverables or documentation

  • One-time services or fixed-scope engagements

2. All Sales Are Final

All purchases are non-refundable.

By completing a purchase, you understand and agree that:

  • Services and deliverables are digital and/or customized

  • Work begins based on information you provide

  • Purchases cannot be canceled, returned, or refunded

If an intake form or required information is not submitted within six (6) months of purchase, the service is considered forfeited, and no refund will be issued.

Failure to submit required information does not constitute failure to deliver the service.

3. Client Responsibilities

To receive purchased services or deliverables, you agree to:

  • Submit any required intake or onboarding information

  • Provide accurate, complete, and relevant details

  • Respond within a reasonable timeframe if clarification is required

Delays caused by missing or incomplete information do not affect the finality of the sale.

4. Websites

Custom website design and development services, including one-time website builds and optional add-ons, are created to order and involve significant time and labor.

All website-related sales are final. No refunds, chargebacks, or reversals will be issued.

Scope of Website Builds

Website builds include only the items explicitly listed on the corresponding sales page at the time of purchase. Any requests outside the stated scope—including additional pages, revisions, features, integrations, or design changes—are not included and may require a separate agreement and additional payment.

Only one (1) round of revisions is included unless otherwise stated.

Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate, complete, and timely information

  • Supplying required content or approvals when requested

  • Connecting their domain and hosting directly or through their hosting provider

Writer’s Impact does not take ownership of domains, hosting accounts, or third-party services.

Delays caused by missing information, delayed responses, or incomplete approvals do not affect the finality of the sale or entitle the client to a refund.

Timelines

Build timelines are estimates and begin only after required access, information, and approvals are received. Delays outside Writer’s Impact’s control may extend delivery timelines without penalty or refund.

Optional Add-Ons

Optional add-ons, including Guided Setup & Priority Access, are time-limited, non-recurring services intended to support launch and early stabilization only. Add-ons do not create ongoing service obligations or support agreements beyond the stated term.

No Technical or Security Guarantees

Writer’s Impact is not a cybersecurity, hosting, or IT services provider.

While reputable themes, tools, and plugins may be used, Writer’s Impact does not guarantee website security, uptime, performance, protection from hacking, malware, or data loss. Clients are responsible for hosting security, backups, updates, and ongoing site protection.

No Guarantees

Writer’s Impact provides professional services, analysis, implementation, and recommendations — not guarantees.

We do not guarantee specific results, rankings, traffic levels, revenue outcomes, or business performance. All decisions and actions taken based on delivered work remain the client’s responsibility.

Client Access & Hosting

Websites may be temporarily hosted on Writer’s Impact’s hosting environment for build and launch convenience. Upon project completion, clients are provided with WordPress administrator access.

Clients are responsible for maintaining their own login credentials. Writer’s Impact does not store or manage client passwords.

Hosting access does not constitute managed hosting, ongoing maintenance, or technical support unless explicitly included in a purchased add-on.

Intake & Project Expiration

Clients have six (6) months from the date of purchase to submit required intake information and begin the project.

If intake materials are not received within this period, the project will be marked as complete and closed. No refunds will be issued, and a new purchase will be required to resume work.

Revisions & Project Closure

Website builds include one (1) round of revisions.

Revision requests must be submitted within seven (7) business days of delivery notice. If no revision request is received within this window, the project will be reviewed and marked as complete and closed.

Requests made after project closure are not included and require the purchase of a separate access or setup package.

Scheduled Calls & No-Shows

Live walkthrough calls are included only for clients who have purchased the Guided Setup & Priority Access add-on.

The add-on includes one (1) walkthrough call during the three-month access period.

Scheduled calls are reserved specifically for the client and selected time.

If a scheduled call is missed or unattended without prior notice, the call is considered forfeited. The remainder of the access period remains active.

Clients who miss a scheduled call may be required to wait up to 30 days before becoming eligible to schedule another call, subject to availability. Repeated missed calls may require the purchase of a new access or setup service to continue.

Security & Technical Responsibility (Adjusted for Hosting Reality)

While reputable themes, tools, and plugins may be used, Writer’s Impact does not guarantee website security, uptime, performance, protection from hacking, malware, or data loss.

Clients remain responsible for ongoing security, backups, updates, and site protection unless explicitly included in a purchased add-on.

Hosting Retention & Site Removal

Websites hosted on Writer’s Impact’s servers are provided as a temporary convenience and do not constitute a managed hosting service.

Completed or inactive websites may be retained for up to 60 days after project completion. After this period, sites may be archived or permanently removed at Writer’s Impact’s discretion without notice.

Clients are responsible for securing their own hosting and backups.

5. No Guarantees

Writer’s Impact provides analysis, recommendations, and professional insight — not guarantees.

We do not guarantee specific results, performance outcomes, revenue increases, rankings, or business success. All decisions and actions taken based on delivered work remain the client’s responsibility.

6. Disputes and Chargebacks

If you have a concern regarding your purchase, you agree to contact Writer’s Impact directly before initiating a chargeback.

Unauthorized chargebacks may be disputed with supporting documentation and may result in restriction of future purchases.

7. Governing Law

This Refund Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, United States.
