The cost depends on the length (word count) of the content and the number of interviews (Case Study standard 800 words / White Papers standard 3,000 words). Below are the detailed steps for the writing process.

For the initial discovery call, book a free consultation.
If we are a good fit, you’ll let me know your preferred method of communication so I can send updates on your project.
•  I will send a formal proposal with the project rates.
•  I’ll draft a proposal with the details of our conversation.
•  Once the proposal is approved, we’ll arrange the kick-off call.

We will have a 30-minute communication (call, or video) with all stakeholders to discuss the project.
•  We’ll discuss your guidelines, goals, and timeline for the project.
•  We’ll agree on a rate, and I will send you an invoice. I accept payment through Square.
•  The first payment is due upon receipt of the invoice.

•  Conduct research for your project.
•  Draft an outline with my proposed questions for the Client/SME.
•  Send the proposed questions for approval.

I will set up the interview (optional).
I will interview with the Client/SME.
•  Explain the process
•  Ask questions
•  Take notes (or record with interviewee’s permission)
•  Explain next steps

The second payment is due after the interview; I will start the first draft once your payment is received.

I will email you the first draft.
The first draft is a researched and verified outline of the content.
•  Recommend: Edits/Feedback or a quick call to discuss input

Two rounds of edits are included with your project.
Once you approve, I’ll deliver the final document.
Final payment is due upon receipt of the invoice.

I have a milestone payment plan:

• 50% – due upon receipt of invoice
• 50% – upon delivery of the final document

The timeline is based on how quickly you respond to questions, send approval(s) and make payments. An open (and quick) communication will result in a timely and smooth process. I will indicate emails that need an immediate response and those that are updates.
